Tawanrat Marit

Tawanrat has a study background in social policy and international development, her research interests are on the issues of social justice and human rights and development, especially those concerning environmental conservation and the land rights of indigenous peoples in Thailand.

She is also interested in power dynamics and ideological contestation in policymaking. Currently, she is conducting the thesis exploring the agenda-setting process of Thailand’s Draft Indigenous Rights Bill, highlighting the interplay between policy networks, ideological influences, and the legislative framework.
